It’s all good. I think. It looks like no damage was made to the lens itself but that the UV-filter took most of the hit. Finally that came to some use. I’m a bit worried though for everything in my camerabag which I dropped pretty hard into a concrete floor. The 24-70 was on the camera when it hit the floor and I got the feeling yesterday that the pictures where more “unsharp” then normal. Now the 24-70 is a crapy lens but it looks crappier the usual. I’m gonna turn everything in to the repair shop and have them look it over.

And for the guy who said I should look over my insurance-I’ve never had an insurance on any of my camera equipment. Thinking about it now though!

  1. littlehuw said: me about the insurance after my 24-70 got disconnected from the camera and fell out of the hummer I was shooting out of in Africa for a friends wedding. Dmaged the bayonet connection. Thankfully the glass was intact, but cost me £200 to fix!!
